The Kretinga Youth Camp at Büttinge
The Kretinga protestant youth group organizes every year a summer camp
for young christian people from the Baltic countries. It is part of the missonary work of the Kretinga community.
The camp started several years ago with about 30 participants. Last year
300 young people came to the event.
The participants live in tents at the beach near Büttinge close to the
Latvian border, about 30 minutes drive from Kretinga. 1999 the camp starts in the evening of August 5 with a opening service and ends Sunday, August 8.
